Lantern Isles — privacy policy
Effective date: 24 October 2026
Lantern Isles (“the game”) is a single-player game. Your progress is saved on your device. This policy explains the ways data leaves it: ads, in-app purchases and game analytics.
Your game progress (resources, heroes, buildings, settings) is stored locally on your device and never sent to us. Uninstalling the game, or Settings → Restart the game, deletes it.
Ads (Unity Ads). The game offers optional ads that you choose to watch for a reward, and after a quest is finished it may show a full-screen ad (never to a new player, a few minutes apart and a limited number a day). To show them, the Unity Ads SDK collects device information such as the advertising identifier, IP address (approximate location), device model, diagnostics and ad interactions. The first time you play, the game asks whether ads may be personalised; if you decline, only non-personalised ads are shown. Unity’s privacy policy: https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy. If you buy No Ads, no ads are shown at all.
In-app purchases. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store; we never see your payment details. The store tells the game which item you bought so it can be delivered. Unity IAP may send purchase telemetry to Unity (see the link above).
Game analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase). To learn how the game is played and improve it, the game uses Google Analytics for Firebase. It records how the game is used — sessions, quests finished, opening the shop, rewarded ads watched and in-app purchases — with device information (model, operating system, language, approximate location from the IP address) and a random app-instance identifier. It is used for analytics only: the game tells Firebase that advertising storage, advertising use of the data and ad personalisation are not allowed, whatever you answered about Unity Ads. Data is kept by Google for up to 14 months and is not linked to your name or account. Google’s policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
We do not sell personal data or require an account.
Children. The game is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, decline personalised ads when asked and only non-personalised ads are shown.
Contact. Use the developer contact details on the game’s Google Play page. Changes to this policy will be posted here before they apply.
